Purchase of Wetland Mitigation Credits

Since the issuance of its charter in May 1999, wetland mitigation credits have been available from the Middle South Platte River Wetland Mitigation Bank. Both public and private developers may utilize these credits to meet their wetland mitigation needs.

If you are interested in purchasing credits, either as the applicant for a Section 404 permit or as the representative or agent of an applicant, please contact us for prices and availability. We can assist you in obtaining regulatory approval of your project using wetland mitigation bank credits. Upon completion of the sale, a certificate of purchase will be issued to the applicant. Providing the certificate to the regulatory authority will satisfy the applicant’s mitigation requirement.
